What does it mean to be in Christ? God has gifted us with so much imagery and so many examples in His Word of how weak, broken, or useless things can be made new and beautiful. The Old and New Testaments are filled with men and women who were ordinary people until they submitted to the life-long process of refining by God. Our Father, who was the original Creative being, allows us further understanding of new creations through nature and art. These were constantly the illustrative sources of Jesus' sermons. But how do we know what the new life is? The answer to that is found in the life - the words, the actions, and the narratives - of Jesus. Looking to Jesus, imitating Him in the power of the Holy Spirit is the path to redeemed life. Discipleship is a journey and a life-long pursuit of Christ. Are you ready to get started?
