What hurts the most is knowing that all those kind words, those gestures of affection, and those flowers could have made a real difference if only they had been given while you were still here. Instead, they wait until you're no longer around to see it. It’s a painful reminder that sometimes, people only show up when it’s too late, when the chance to make things right has already slipped away.
