Are Spiritual Gifts for the Church Today? | Episode 105
There is a debate within Christianity over whether the spiritual gifts Paul discussed in 1 Corinthians 12-14 still operate in the church today. Cessationists argue that spiritual gifts ceased with the apostles, while Pentecostals, including the United Pentecostal Church International, believe and teach that spiritual gifts continue to operate in the church today.
In this podcast episode, Dr. David K. Bernard responds to the most common arguments cessationists make to support their claims. In doing so, he explains why believers should expect the supernatural gifts described in the New Testament to operate in the modern church.
