Romans 12:18 says, “If possible, as far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.”

In light of the world we are currently living in, along with the uncertainty surrounding our daily lives, it can be challenging to find such harmony; otherwise, the inspired Word of God would not have included the two words: “If Possible.”

Living peaceably with all and pursuing a spirit of unity is conditional and without guarantee, but “as far as it depends on you” carries a blessing: in the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus said, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.”
