The Holy Spirit has endowed, over the history of humanity, certain people chosen by God with the gift of prophecy, to be His special messengers and bring to us words of hope, of encouragement, of insight, and many times also of warning, so that we can understand God’s will for us, and His plan to save us from this wicked world. I want to study with you what the Bible teaches us about this wonderful gift of prophecy and how God has used people like you and me from among His church, to bring words that we need to hear, think about, and live by.
