Sunday Law Passed

1. On February. 29, 1892, The United states Supreme Court decided that “this is a Christian nation,” citing Sunday laws as one proof. {May 23, 1895 ATJ, AMS 163.3}

2. On July 19, 1892, the Congress of the United states followed the lead of the Supreme Court and passed a Sunday bill. {May 23, 1895 ATJ, AMS 163.4}

3. On August 5, this bill was signed by president Harrison and became a law. The pin with which it was signed was begged from the president and carefully treasured in the archives of the American Sabbath union; {May 23, 1895 ATJ, AMS 163.5}

No Christians speared in that final cataclysmic event has that happened in our nation well I believe it has in 1888 A.D.

And many of us are familiar with the fact that Congress held its first ever hearings on the first ever National Sunday law introduced by Senator H.W. Blair from New Hampshire at Jones was voted by the Minneapolis General Conference Session to lead a delegation of three to appear before the senate committee in Congress on education and labor and quote from the GC vote the GC voted.
