KOINONIA-ZARIA (March 12, 2021)
Times and Seasons by Apostle Joshua Selman

This teaching will leave you thinking about your life passionately.

Realities in this kingdom are time-dependent and season-dependent.
Every time period is not convenient for every result.

When you sustain an understanding of the mystery of times and seasons, you will maximise your days and live a wholesome life; doing much for the kingdom, yourself and your relationships.

The earth system is designed such that there will always be seasons of abundance and seasons of drought; and they continue to interchange periodically in every man's life.

The years of plenty represents seasons of ease, opportunities and access.
According to the law of Time and Chance, everyone will encounter the opportunity to excel in life.

The seven years of drought represent seasons of constraints, inconveniences and scarcity.
You may not be able to stop difficult seasons just yet, but you can sustain the discernment and understanding to interpret them and the mystery to remain stable through them

The deception that comes with seasons of abundance is complacency.
The times of plenty are meant to prepare you for the seasons of less.
You rise in relevance and influence by becoming the person people can depend on during periods of drought.
#TimesAndSeasons

Your seasons of abundance should prepare you for your seasons of drought.

How to maximize your years of Abundance
1. Build capacity; Spiritual, mental, etc.
2. BUILD RELATIONSHIPS
3. SELFLESSLY invest in blessing and transforming lives (pay the price to be part of the story of people)
4. Study those who have maintained relevance through seasons. Heb 6:12

1. On February. 29, 1892, The United states Supreme Court decided that “this is a Christian nation,” citing Sunday laws as one proof. {May 23, 1895 ATJ, AMS 163.3}

The fall of Jerusalem 70 A.D. and 66 A.D.
We may read it in the 1858 Great Controversy. “Fall of Jerusalem”
No Christians speared in that final cataclysmic event has that happened in our nation well I believe it has in 1888 A.D.

And many of us are familiar with the fact that Congress held its first ever hearings on the first ever National Sunday law introduced by Senator H.W. By uniting with the world and partaking of its spirit, they come to view matters in nearly the same light; and when the test is brought, they are prepared to choose the easy, popular side. Men of talent and pleasing address, who once rejoiced in the truth, employ their powers to deceive and mislead souls.” The same is in The Great Controversy, 609.

The heart of the true minister is filled with an intense longing to save souls. Time and strength are spent, toilsome effort is not shunned; for others must hear the truths that brought to his own soul such gladness and peace and joy. The Spirit of Christ rests upon him. He watches for souls as one that must give an account. With his eyes fixed on the cross of Calvary, beholding the uplifted Saviour, relying on His grace, believing that He will be with him until the end, as his shield, his strength, his efficiency, he works for God. With invitations and pleadings, mingled with the assurances of God's love, he seeks to win souls to Jesus, and in heaven he is numbered among those who are “called, and chosen, and faithful.”
