For more than 170 years, the Seventh-day Adventist Church has promoted freedom of belief for all people. For Adventists, the principle of religious freedom has strong biblical, historical, and theological foundations. We are not promised a life free of trials but Romans 3:8 reminds us that “we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us.” God is with us in our difficulties, in our heartbreak, He will never leave us or forsake us. We can have this hope. Keep your focus on Him who has overcome, and you will have hope and peace during trying times.

"God's purpose in giving the third angel's message to the world is to prepare a people to stand true to Him during the investigative judgment. This is the purpose for which we establish and maintain our publishing houses, our schools, our sanitariums, hygienic restaurants, treatment rooms, and food factories. This is our purpose in carrying forward every line of work in the cause." {1MR 228}
