ITEC is excited to release the LIFE Study, a nine week study designed to be used in a small group or as a personal devotion. The LIFE Study helps us look at what the Bible teaches about different areas of our lives, and helps us apply those Truths in a practical way. The areas explored through this study include: success, financial, career, family, physical, social, intellectual, and spiritual. The LIFE Study is a tool for real world, practical discipleship to encourage living intentionally in every area of life, reflecting the love and light of Christ into a world that is dark and without hope.

ITEC is an organization that is focused on creating tools and training systems to empower indigenous (local) Christ-followers around the world to care for the felt needs of people in their own community. Churches across North America spend a lot of time, talent, and resources on the mission fields overseas, but it is easy to only think of a third-world country when we think of missions. The truth is, we have all been called to the mission field. For some it will be overseas, others it will be to go across the street, but we are all called to go (Matthew 28:19-20). ITEC’s LIFE Focus is developing tools for discipleship and walking His Trail in all areas of life. The LIFE Study will help you take an honest assessment of your life and ask who is really writing my story? Remember, God does not want to be the editor, He wants to be the Author.

great·ness /ɡrātnəs/ the quality of being great, distinguished, or eminent.

Our world is obsessed with it. We rank people based on it. And the delusional are convinced they already embody it. But the One Who was truly Great redefined greatness with a towel and a basin of water. Jesus’ humble act of washing His disciple’s feet demonstrated the power of greatness in its ability to descend. He inverted the paradigm to define greatness as it is in God’s eyes.

DISCIPLE
What is a Christian? Someone who attends church, reads their Bible and prays? Is a Christian a person who professes faith in Christ or the creeds of the church? What is primary to our identity as Christians? It’s interesting, the word "Christian" is only found 3 times in the New Testament. Yet the word "disciple" (which means a student or apprentice or follower) occurs 269 times. The point is to be a Christian is to be a disciple. Being a disciple is not an add-on to the Christian life. It is the Christian life. Please join us in this new series that is sure to re-kindle your devotion, strengthen your walk with God, and press you more deeply into Christ.

Let's explore how life in the Kingdom of God radically contrasts life outside the kingdom.

One Hope meets Sundays 9:30am at the Eikestad Primary School main hall in central Stellenbosch. We hope to see you there!

BOOK DESCRIPTION

When the Israelites exclaimed, "Here are your gods!" at the sight of the golden calf, they were attempting to hold on to the God of their history while fashioning idols for their own purposes.

In today's Western world, plenty of shiny false gods still hold power—idols of prosperity, nationalism, and self-interest. Christians desperately need to name and expose these idols. We must retrieve the biblical emphasis on idolatry and apply it anew in our journey of following Jesus. In "Here Are Your Gods", Old Testament scholar Christopher J. H. Wright combines a biblical study of idolatry with practical discipleship. He calls listeners to consider connections between Old Testament patterns and today's culture, especially recurring temptations to trust in political power. Now as much as ever, we need a biblically informed understanding of the many ways humans make gods for themselves, the danger of idols, and how God calls us to join him in the battle against idolatry as part of his ongoing mission to be known and worshiped by all peoples.

In this video, we explore the real cost of being a disciple of Jesus Christ. Discipleship isn't just about attending church or living a comfortable Christian life. It's about total commitment and sacrifice, something that’s often watered down in modern Christianity.

We dive deep into what it truly means to count the cost of following Jesus and how we can avoid the temptation of a shallow, convenient faith. Discover why Jesus calls us to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him with a radical, all-in commitment.

If you're serious about your walk with Christ, this video will challenge you to reflect on your own faith and take a bold step towards authentic discipleship.

Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe for more videos on deepening your faith and living out God's calling in your life!

Jesus taught a life saving lesson that all believers should take to heart. In Matthew chapter 8, Jesus gave Christians an example of how to be fearless, how to rest, and how to endure life’s storms. This is a video to share with others. May God strengthen you and give you rest during the storms to come.

BOOK DESCRIPTION

This book is quite simply, one of the most profound and important books of the 20th century. Dietrich Bonhoeffer lived a testimony of his thoughtful and engaging writers. Focusing on the most treasured part of Christ's teaching - the Sermon on the Mount with its call to discipleship, and on the grace of God and the sacrifice which that demands. // Viewed against the background of Nazi Germany, Bonhoeffer's book is striking enough. At the same time, it shares with many great Christian classics a quality of timelessness, so that it has spoken, and continues to speak powerfully, to the varied concerns of the contemporary world.

Why Christians Are Leaving The Church | Christian Podcast | Online Discipleship Training

Welcome to the Christian podcast, God's Plan for Living where we'll be discussing the topic of why Christians are leaving the church and what do to about it.

Today, the church is facing a real crisis. It’s losing members, it’s losing enthusiasm, and it’s frustrating believers to the point of despair.

And what’s behind this despair that’s creeping into the church? I believe it’s caused by the church focusing on the wrong things.

Instead of focusing on Christ’s power to bring internal transformation to believers, so many churches are more concerned with external transformations - making sure everybody acts a certain way, even if they don’t feel it on the inside. Behavior modification.

So is the church doomed? What can we do to get back on track?

In this episode of God’s Plan For Living, I talk about how you can be an ambassador to show God’s people how to walk in the Kingdom - not just trying to “fake it till you make it” with external changes in your life, but truly being transformed on the inside by the power and presence of God.

If you’re looking for guidance on opening up your life to receive the Kingdom, you can buy my new book, “God’s Plan For Living,” right here on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BZ4YL8YM
