For this project, I wanted to create a worship experience using a blend of familiar songs: some I’ve recorded over the years, and others I haven’t. Songs like “The Heart of Worship,” by Matt Redman or “He Knows My Name” by Bob Fitts are classic songs that have connected with people all over the world, and this is my first time to record them in a studio setting like this. I gathered my full band at in:ciite Studios in Franklin, Tennessee and we recorded and performed these songs as one continuous expression of worship, just as we’d do in front of an audience. I hope this project and these songs you’ve heard before usher in God’s presence in a new way in your life.

When the music fades all is stripped away
And I simply come
Longing just to bring something that's of worth
That will bless Your heart
I'll bring You more than a song
For a song in itself is not what You have required
You search much deeper within
Through the way things appear
You're looking into my heart
I'm coming back to the heart of worship
And it's all about You all about You Jesus
I'm sorry Lord for the thing I've made it
When it's all about You all about You Jesus
King of endless worth no one could express
How much You deserve
Though I'm weak and poor all I have is Yours
Ev'ry single breath
